A Honert "Banana" vibrating screen supplied for the new Rotowaro Coal Handling Facility.

Pacific Mining Services Ltd also supplied two vibrating feeders and commissioning, start-up and manuals for this equipment.

An MMD twin roll sizer and a Scantech Coalscan analyser were also installed in this facility.

Fulghum Industries Inc USA

PRODUCT OR SERVICE:
One of the seven wood chip conveyors installed in the wood chip processing facility of Sabah Softwoods in Tawau, Borneo by Fulghum Industries, USA. Pacific Mining Services Ltd supplied conveyor components and conveyor belt cleaners for all these units.

SC 180 Static Refuse Compactor and three 28cm3 compactor bins manufactured and supplied to Far North District Council for turnkey compactor station including design and construction of site works, installation and commissioning of equipment, operator training and provision of manuals etc.

Culham Engineering Company Ltd

The 70 metre long elevated and inclined conveyor manufactured and installed at the Portland wood chip facility of Marusumi Whangarei Company Ltd. Pacific Mining Services Ltd supplied conveyor design calculations, selected and sized equipment and supplied all conveyor components including drive assemblies, pulleys, conveyors, belting, belt cleaners, skirt rubber etc and undertook final design inspection for Culham Engineering Company Ltd who carried out fabrication and installation at site.

New Zealand Aluminium Smelters Ltd
LOCATION: Rio Tinto at Tiwai Point, Southland

PRODUCT OR SERVICE:
This crusher was manufactured by our principal’s Williams Patent Crusher & Pulverizer Company in Bonne Terre, Missouri, USA and is a William K-2 Reversible Impactor # 430 with a 1118mm diameter and a 762mm wide rotor and is being used to crush spent cell lining material to a size that it can be used as a material input in other manufacturing processes.
The unit was delivered to NZAS in July 2009.

Fulghum Ltd

Pacific Mining Services Ltd., supplied complete carry and return conveyor sets for five belt conveyors in this plant for 1500, 1050mm and 900mm belt width conveyors with all rolls at 127mm diameter

Conveyor roll supplied were Pacific’s HMW-PE Type S conveyor rollers and all galvanised carry frames and return brackets were manufactured in New Zealand

Pacific Mining Services has previously supplied Fulghum Ltd., with similar conveyor equipment for chip mills in Tasmania, Geelong, New South Wales, Malaysia, Borneo, Sabah and New Zealand.

McConnell Dowell Constructors Ltd
LOCATION: Rosedale North Shore,

Pacific Mining Services Ltd., in association with our principal’s ABC Ventilation Systems of Canada was awarded the contract for the design, manufacture and supply of the underground ventilation system for the Rosedale Outfall Project by the main contractor McConnell Dowell Constructors Ltd.

The contract involved Pacific and ABC in the supply of the complete underground ventilation system comprising four (4) axial vane fans plus cassettes, silencers, inlet bells and VSD’s 3000 metres of 800mm diameter ducting, hanging shaft ducting, 500mm diameter ducting for crossing, steel bends and wyes, repair kits and fan/wyeduct transition pieces.

The equipment was manufactured at ABC Ventilation Systems plant in Saskatoon, SK, Canada and the attached photographs illustrate the ventilation system installed in the Rosedale Outfall tunnel which is still being driven by McConnell Dowell Constructors Limited.

Pacific and ABC have previously supplied underground ventilation systems for underground tunnel to McConnell Dowel Constructors for outfall tunnels in Christchurch and at Tahuna in Dunedin.
